Shaheen Bagh is now not a place name but has become the tahreek or ptotest ground and inspiring hub for women protester. Similar women gatherign is underway for the past three days in the tech city of Bangalore against the Centre’s new citizenship matrix.

Located near the famous Bilal mosque on the busy Tannery Road in east Bangalore, the venue has been carved out by blocking one of the many crossroads. The protesters have called the vigil Bilal Bagh, a nod to Shaheen Bagh.

The sit-in, which began on Saturday, has already become a go-to place for all those who believe that the citizenship regime must be overthrown.

केंद्रीय मंत्री रामदास अठावले ने दिए CAA में बदलाव के संकेत, कहा-सरकार ने मांगे हैं सुझाव

केंद्रीय मंत्री रामदास अठावले ने कहा कि लोगों की भावनाओं का विचार करते हुए इस पर बदलाव हो सकते हैं. इस पर सरकार ने इस पर कुछ सुझाव मांगे हैं. गौरतलब है कि पिछले दिनों गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा था कि सरकार सीएए पर जरा भी पीछे नहीं हटेगी. हालांकि, रालेगण सिद्धि में पिछले 34 दिन से मौन व्रत पर बैठे अन्ना हजारे से मुलाकात के बाद रामदास अठावले ने संकेत दिए हैं कि सरकार कानून पर विचार के मूड में है.
